When each of us opens our eyes in this place, we are also opening our perception to the realities of our circumstances, and these realities can certainly vary depending upon where it is you open your eyes on this planet.  In the West, no one would argue that we have it pretty good.  Even our poorest live like kings compared to some poor in less fortunate countries.  Quality water, sewer and electricity are typically not concerns, <span id="more-279"></span>the product of the hard work of former generations, hardly requiring a thought.  Four walls are commonplace.  Even the poor among us find shelter (with few exceptions). Most of us live in homes, utilities provided, mail delivered, streets paved, store shelves stocked, protected by police, having a means of obtaining income, etc.</p>
<p>But did you ever think of breaking the mold and doing things differently, dropping out?  Here&#8217;s an example of a family that decided just that.</p>
