Do you need a new incentive to wash your hands correctly after using the bathroom? That’s right, correctly! Is there is a wrong way to wash your hands? Of course there is, you say. We’ve all seen it. People not washing hands before exiting the public bathroom (hopefully not food service staff, but anyway…), the quick splash (for looks only), or those that do wash but then grab the door handle picking up the germs of the last person who didn’t wash.

Then, what is the best way to wash? The Soap and Detergent Association and New York State Department of Health have teamed up to provide a new Handwashing Poster, and this poster offers a great tip for knowing that you’ve had your hands in the soap and water long enough.
