Skaneateles Design launches MindBodySmile.com

By: Christine Briel, Skaneateles Design

MindBodySmile.com by Dr. Rob

Skaneateles Design worked closely with Dr. Robert Kiltz, a succesful IVF doctor in CNY, to launch a community wellness website. There are many contributors writing blog posts to the site on a daily basis. MindBodySmile is based on the WordPress framework version 2.5.1. This version is a breeze to use, if you are currently operating your website on the WordPress framework I strongly urge you to upgrade to 2.5.1.

If you have any interest in the mind-body-spirit connection, wellness and connecting with others then you should DEFINITELY check out MindBodySmile.com by Dr. Rob. It’s a great place to be :)

Time Warner (Road Runner) begins to meter Internet usage for some customers

By: Cary Briel, Skaneateles Design

Time Warner Road runner begins to meter Internet Usage with some customersHere’s one very large reason to shy away from using Time Warner (Road Runner) for Internet service. They’re beginning to do trials with some customers, metering Internet usage, and charging for overages ($1 per each additional gigabyte). Read about it here.

Take my word for it, get Verizon FiOS instead. We have it, and have never been disappointed. Always up, always fast, never metered.

“Sonnet I” - Edna St. Vincent Millay

“Sonnet I” - Edna St. Vincent Millay

Thou art not lovelier than lilacs,—no,
Nor honeysuckle; thou art not more fair
Than small white single poppies,—I can bear
Thy beauty; though I bend before thee, though
From left to right, not knowing where to go,
I turn my troubled eyes, nor here nor there
Find any refuge from thee, yet I swear
So has it been with mist,—with moonlight so.

Like him who day by day unto his draught
Of delicate poison adds him one drop more
Till he may drink unharmed the death of ten,
Even so, inured to beauty, who have quaffed
Each hour more deeply than the hour before,
I drink—and live—what has destroyed some men.
